Tenant Spotlight: Chopsticks Serves Up AuthenticityThose who enjoy authentic Thai food must visit Chopsticks House—the Old Cutler Towne Center eatery where genuine passion has resulted in longevity.
“We cook for love,” said co-owner Nataya Pleesonti. “That’s why we’ve been here for so long.”
Pleesonti and her husband “Sonny” have been running the bustling restaurant for the past 18 years, serving the community with made-from-scratch dishes at reasonable prices since day one.
The couple, originally from Thailand, takes pride in using fresh ingredients (they grow their own Thai basil and lemon grass at home), following traditional family recipes and preparing every dish to order.
“We are working hard to bring good food to the good people of this neighborhood,” Nataya Pleesonti said.
According to the family, Chopsticks’ most popular dishes include the large portions of Pad Thai, red curry and volcano chicken. The couple would like to remind neighbors to visit their establishment, which offers takeout and delivery options, and not to overlook their fantastic, $12 early-bird specials, offered from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. To learn more and/or to review a full menu, visit www.chopstickshousemiami.com.
“Come give us a try, we’ve been here for 18 years, that must say something,” Nataya Pleesonti said.
